Easter has brought with it an iridescent change. The winds blow warmer and the yellow rays of light fall heavier. It feels like the world is saying wake up and dust all the cobwebs from your hair, it’s time to dance away the winter blues.
Although sometimes, it really is difficult to get motivated and to be that positive. I’m sure we’ve all had a sniff of the blues sometime in our life. Or worse than that, the ‘mean reds’. Now, if you don’t know what the ‘mean reds’ are it’s probably because you’re not cool and Haven’t seen/read Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The way I’ve come to look at it is that we do only have the one life(that we know about) so we just have to make the best of it, otherwise what’s the point, right? We just can’t afford to waste life on what other people think of us or drown ourselves in a morose stupor. Now, I try to only ever write about what I know, and I know how hard it is to greet each day with a smile. But a good way to try is to be Active, especially when the sun is out. Go for a walk, a swim, a jog. Just take in the beauty that’s all around you.
Our Easter treat came in the form of my beautiful friend Janice coming to visit. It was a long overdue visit but so worth it. We chatted, we laughed, we ate, we walked but most of all we soaked in the sun together and made the best of a short visit. What I’m saying is make the best of every moment, who knows when you’ll get another.
